“Former Executive Director of the Lean Construction Institute, Dick Bayer will be speaking on "How to give up your guns and open your arms: collaborative project delivery in the era of the involved owner”. Project delivery is moving away from siloed delivery and more toward involving all the talent on the team. Using lean, integrated project delivery techniques inside a design-build construct is a perfect way to garner the benefits of both delivery vehicles. Incorporating the Owner into the decision tree allows more collaboration as the project develops and requires less stringent scope development at the outset. “
