Design-Build project delivery is taking off with organizations all over California. DBIA and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) decided to get together to ask the questions:

• Is design-build the right choice for life-science buildings?
• Does the choice of delivery model affect sustainability?
• Why are some life-science organizations adopting design-build and others not?

To address these questions we assembled a panel of representatives from university and corporate life-science organizations, developers, project managers and construction managers to give you their takes on project delivery and to answer questions on what’s the right approach.
