Description: Owners Council Webinar.  Session #6 - DESIGN-BUILD ACQUISITION AND CONTRACT INCENTIVES – AN OWNER’S PERSPECTIVE

This webinar will be the 6th of 9 to be presented in 2018. The series is built from the Design-Build Institute of America’s “Manual of Practice” (MOP). A highly experienced practitioner will present each of the 9 topics. This will be a 40 min presentation of the given subject using the MOP as the foundational platform. Design-build project delivery proves more than any other method that “ordinary people can do extraordinary things.” Writing contracts that are successful at effectively motivating people, however, is central to making this happen. Successful motivation requires a well-written contract that provides appropriate awards and incentives.
