Description: Sacramento Chapter Lunch Program: Joint DBIA/SMPS - "DESIGN EXCELLENCE - UNIQUE TO EVERY OWNER".  The DBIA's "Design Excellence Position" states that "the design-build delivery system is well designed to meet the owner's needs and functional requirements while harnessing innovation and creativity aimed at...memorable design solutions that exceed an owner's vision and defined functional requirements." The Position also states that Design Excellence "will have an interpretation unique to every owner." Spend the afternoon with DBIA and SMPS hearing how a panel of diverse owners define excellence and identify common themes.
