Description: Sacramento Chapter Lunch Program: "The CSU's Collaborative Design-Build Selection Process." Given CSU's recent deployment of the Collaborative Design-Build Selection Process, this session is focused on how the CSU arrived at the procurement strategy to meet its goals and objectives for their design-build projects. The overview will include what the CSU has experienced so far, as well as highlights of lessons learned and best practices. DBIA's goal for this presentation is to educate the industry on the CSU process. The CSU Collaborative Design Build Process can benefit the industry given its focus on qualifications and finding "The Right Team" in lieu of a detailed design-build competition.
