What do you do when the Intergovernmental Agency Agreement deadline is approaching, the budget is suddenly cut, and the project requirements remain unchanged? The University of Arizona Cancer Center's (UACC) design-build team lived through this scenario. By applying design-build practices and executing in a truly collaborative fashion they cut costs by 26%, met the program requirements, and maintained quality.
